Rafbus is one van, one phone number and one driver. I have been covering Zaventem and Charleroi every day of the year since 2015 — the person who answers your call is the person who picks you up.

How it started
The first customers were friends and their families flying in and out of Zaventem. Word travelled and the phone kept ringing, and eleven years later I am still driving the same routes.
Staying small was a decision, not a limitation. There is no call centre and no dispatch software deciding who picks you up. I read every booking myself, and if something goes wrong on the road you reach the one person who can fix it.
Most of my passengers are not tourists. They are people who fly the same route every few weeks and want to stop thinking about the last twenty kilometres of the journey.
How we work
Three rules I have not broken since the first ride.

The quoted price is the final price
No night tariff, no surcharge because the flight landed late. If I quoted it, I honour it.

I am there before you are
Every flight is tracked. I am in the arrivals hall before the aircraft reaches the gate, delay or not.

I answer the phone myself
At three in the morning too. No menu, no queue — if you cannot find the car, one call solves it.
The person driving you
You deal with one person, start to finish
Rafbus is one man. I answer the phone, read every booking, and I am the driver waiting in the arrivals hall. There is nobody to transfer you to and no dispatcher who does not know your name.
That is the reason bookings are confirmed once I know I can be there, rather than automatically. It is also why the price never changes between the quote and the ride — there is no middleman taking a cut.
